Maybe the features I want aren’t worth adding. Maybe what I find annoying isn’t worth addressing. I’ve played AA and AO for a combined ~340 hours. Despite my hopes that keeping the thread stickied would get the issues past the ‘we’ll look into it’ barrier, nothing from that list appears to have been implemented (apart from issue 10 possibly) in the past five months. I really wish the developers would address the issues I brought up back in March. Having done that, and having gotten the process down to a science more or less, AA and AO have lost their luster. My goal with AA and AO for the past two and a bit years has been to score 100 points per meter of travel. I’ve listed my detailed thoughts on the problems with AO in the stickied post at the top of this subreddit. I appreciate the wall grind mechanics, but I feel that without similar mechanics in the other biomes, the game feels unbalanced.ĪO carries over two major design oversights from AA, the first is the lack of a scrolling combo counter, and the second is the inability to toggle the appearance of power ups. The goals frequently are based on chance rather than skill. The chasms are often pointlessly wide, and seem like a trap that exists solely to get people to purchase upgrades to the wingsuit (which I gather can be bought for real money on Android). This in itself is not bad, but the way it achieves that difficulty is annoying at times.
